Getting to the Venue

Transportation to Campus from Various Points of Access

The University of Tokyo’s Komaba I Campus is conveniently located about 5 minutes by train on the Keio Inokashira Line from one of Tokyo’s largest transportation hubs, Shibuya Station.

Coming from Narita Airport:
*Go to the basement area of Narita Airport and take the Narita Express train to Shibuya Station.
OR
*Take the Limousine Bus and disembark at the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel. (Please ask the bus ticketing staff to help you buy tickets for the correct bus.)  Board the bus outside the Arrivals Area where indicated. When you arrive at the hotel, walk several hundred meters to Shibuya Station (this requires crossing a large street with suspension bridges; you will be able to see the station from the hotel, but please ask the hotel staff if you are confused about the direction of the station).

*Transfer at Shibuya Station to the Keio Inokashira Line (BLUE).
*Take the Inokashira Line to Komaba-Todaimae station in the direction of Kichijoji Station. Disembark at Komaba-Todaimae station and go up the staircase towards the East Exit. Go through the ticket gate to your left. You will see the university main gates directly in front of you. Walk towards the building with the clock tower, and you will find a campus map or download the PDF map from the link provided here. The conference will take place in the Komaba Center for Educational Excellence (KOMCEE) West Building.

Coming from Haneda Airport:
*Take the Tokyo Monorail (Rapid, Express, or Local) toward Hamamatsucho Station.
*Transfer to the JR and take the Yamanote Line (GREEN) toward Osaki Station/Shibuya Station. Disembark at Shibuya Station.
OR
*Take the Limousine Bus and disembark at the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel. (Please ask the bus ticketing staff to help you buy tickets for the correct bus.)  Board the bus downstairs from the Arrivals Area where indicated. *Board at Shinjuku Station JR and take the Yamanote Line (GREEN) towards Shibuya Station and get off at Shibuya Station. 
*Transfer at Shibuya Station to the Keio Inokashira Line (BLUE).
*Take the Inokashira Line to Komaba-Todaimae station in the direction of Kichijoji Station. Disembark at Komaba-Todaimae station and go up the staircase towards the East Exit. *Walk to Otemachi Station and take the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line (PURPLE) towards Chuo-Rinkan Station. Disembark at Shibuya Station. (shorter route)

*Transfer at Shibuya Station to the Keio Inokashira Line (BLUE).
*Take the Inokashira Line to Komaba-Todaimae station in the direction of Kichijoji Station. Disembark at Komaba-Todaimae station and go up the staircase towards the East Exit.
